Beel’s Variant Article

In an interesting and challenging article/review, the free arts and culture magazine ‘Variant‘ has published an in-depth piece about problems at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow, in the context of the research findings in ‘Bullying in the Arts’. David Beel juxtaposes some of the issues at Riverside with the wider questions raised in the book. I don’t agree with all of Beel’s suppositions, but he has really paid attention to the key issues, for which I’m grateful, plus anything that contributes towards stemming workplace harassment and bullying in the cultural sector is ok by me.
