The Cinderella Project

I’ve been having an interesting ‘conversation’ with Paul W. Warhauser via the LabforCulture group on LinkedIn about mental health and the performing arts. He sent me details of some of his work with ‘at risk’ teenagers in Minnesota. The Cinderella Project describes how some of the theatre peices Paul works on evolve – steered by the young people taking part – and I thought it was really interesting and deserving of some exposure to theatre practitioners in the UK and Ireland. His other link was to a company in Sweden, undertaking innovative new work. Would be glad to have thoughts and feedback on either/both. I’m actively looking for companies using the performing arts effectively to deal with important issues, such as bullying or discrimination.
